Plantpeddler breaks ground on retail complex
Plantpeddler recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Plantpeddler Retail Complex in Cresco, Iowa. The new facility aims to allow expansion in floral, gift and garden center product lines.
The primary retail operation will be operating in a 6,000 square-foot-wide span steel building, with vaulted ceilings, multilevel shopping, a central cooler, and efficient floral design space connected to the greenhouse space.
The greenhouse covers 9,000 square feet of gutter connected greenhouses with glass south gable end to allow maximum curb appeal. The space is designed with all fixtures movable to allow maximum flexibility in usage, including corporate events.
The target opening date for the new retail complex is Nov. 22-23, when Plantpeddler will celebrate its 45th anniversary Christmas Open House and Grand Opening.
