Her plant selections included coneflower ‘Sunny Days Lemon’, coneflower ‘Evolution Colorific’and hydrangea ‘Seaside Serenade Bar Harbor’, along with other plants and several special-order selections.
Monrovia developed Bee a Winner to help garden centers highlight pollinator-attracting plants. For 2027, the company will award 10 in-store shopping spree prizes valued at $500 each.
Participating garden centers will need to sign up and place a $2,000 order of qualifying Monrovia pollinator-friendly plants. Orders will include posters with a QR code linking customers to an online entry form and must be delivered by May 28, 2027.
Winners will be drawn during Pollinator Week, June 21-27, 2027.
“Our consumer research shows there is growing enthusiasm for a more natural looking garden design that not only attracts pollinators, but also provides curated beauty, long-lasting color and blooms gardeners can count on,” said Katie Tamony, chief marketing officer and trendspotter at Monrovia.
