Hort Couture has recently introduced the new Under The Sea coleus. These plants resemble the crustaceans, coral and other sea creatures. From the diminutive ‘Red Coral’ and ‘Electric Coral’ to the huge lobed leaves of ‘Langostino’ and ‘Hermit Crab’, these sun and shade loving plants will add texture, color and pizzazz to any container garden.

The Under The Sea coleus are easy to grow and have performed well in trials across the U.S. this past summer. Liners are available from Raker and the plants can also be purchased as un-rooted cuttings from selected brokers.

Another great part of the story of these unique new plants is that they were bred by college students in Canada and the royalties go back to the university greenhouses and horticulture program. To add to the great story is the fact that the Under The Sea coleus can only be found at your local independent garden center.

Visit www.trialgardens.raker.com to see pictures of the Coleus trials and much more.
