Black Gold Soil Receives Honors
Three potting soils in Sun Gro Horticulture’s Black Gold line – Black Gold All Purpose with Multicote, Black Gold Natural & Organic and Black Gold Waterhold Cocoblend – recently received the National Home Garden Club Seal of Approval.
Last summer and fall, several hundred members of the National Home Garden Club in the western United States tested the three potting soils. The product testers were asked to use the sample in their home garden and determine whether they would recommend the product – and each received a customer satisfaction score of 98 to 100 percent.
Black Gold was also recommended in the January/February 2009 issue of Fine Gardening magazine.
