Terra Nova Nurseries receives display award at 2026 Shanghai Garden Show
Terra Nova Nurseries received an “Excellent Display” award for its exhibit at the 2026 Shanghai Garden Show, held April 15 to May 15 at the Shanghai Flower Port.
The event featured 34 themed gardens created by international plant breeders, landscape companies, independent designers and university students. Terra Nova’s display garden highlighted mixed container plantings designed for small spaces and showcased perennial varieties suited to woodland and partially shaded environments.
Plants featured in the exhibit included acanthus, brunnera, coreopsis, corydalis, dicentra, heuchera, penstemon, pulmonaria and thalictrum.
“The Shanghai Garden Show brought together many of the people and organizations shaping the future of gardening in China,” Kevin Chen, Terra Nova Nurseries’ Asia representative, said.
The event was organized by Shanghai Flower & Horticulture (Group) Co. and focused on themes including garden therapy, social connection, children’s aesthetic education and the role of gardens in urban environments.
Organizers also incorporated retail and consumer-focused elements into the event through a “Garden+” business model that combined garden displays, admission-based experiences and marketplace activities.
