PDSI to showcases new plants at Cultivate’26

Plant Development Services (PDSI) will introduce several new ornamental plant varieties and expanded plant collections during Cultivate’26, taking place July 12-15 in Columbus, Ohio.

New introductions include ‘Early Surprise’ Camellia, the DayScape daylily collection, ‘Poppin’ Pink’ agapanthus, ‘Chilly Lily’ agapanthus, loropetalum ‘Purple Raindrops’ (top photo), Cirque de Bloom hibiscus, two additions to the Butterfly Candy butterfly bush collection and ‘Autumn Queen’ Encore azalea.

The new introductions represent additions to the Southern Living Plant Collection, Sunset Plant Collection, Butterfly Candy Butterfly Bush collection and Encore Azalea collection.

PDSI also will host an educational session, “From Trending to Top-Selling: Driving the Plant Popularity Pipeline,” from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Sunday, July 12, in the Heart of It All Ballroom B. The session will examine how consumer trends influence plant purchasing decisions and how growers, retailers and brands can capitalize on those trends.
