Proven Winners ColorChoice shrubs to join Proven Winners EZ Scapes program
Spring Meadow Nursery and Walters Gardens recently announced that Proven Winners ColorChoice shrubs will join the Proven Winners EZ Scapes program. The collaborative effort aims to make home landscaping more successful for garden centers and their customers.
EZ Scapes are curated landscape “recipes” composed of perennials that grow well together and provide continuous seasonal interest from early spring through fall. Each recipe is themed around common garden challenges and goals, such as deer resistance, pollinator support, shade tolerance and drought conditions.
The program was developed by Walters Gardens, featuring Proven Winners perennials, to help bridge the knowledge gap for homeowners and new gardeners who may feel overwhelmed by the process of selecting and combining plants for their landscapes. With the addition of Proven Winners ColorChoice Shrubs, the recipes now offer even greater structure, four-season appeal, and expanded solutions that enhance both the beauty and function of the garden.
“EZ Scapes were designed to simplify garden planning for consumers and provide retailers with a turn-key selling tool,” said Christa Steenwyk, vice president of sales and marketing at Walters Gardens. “By including Proven Winners ColorChoice Shrubs, we’re expanding the design and functionality of these recipes, giving garden centers a more complete story to tell — and helping customers feel more confident about their purchases.”
